The criminal court in Douglas County, Colorado is responsible for handling all criminal matters that come before it. This includes everything from traffic violations to felonies. The court is made up of a judge and a jury.  Court officers determine if matters will occur remotely or in person. Douglas County was one of two Colorado counties that originally made up the Eighteenth Judicial District in 1964. The court’s hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
