The Montezuma County Criminal Court is a part of the Montezuma County Combined Court system, which includes both District and County Courts. It’s located at Montezuma Combined Courts, 865 North Park Street, Suite 100, Cortez, CO 81321. The County Court is a court of limited jurisdiction. It handles misdemeanor criminal cases, traffic cases, small claims cases, and civil cases involving less than $15,000.The Court is open for both in-person and virtual appearance Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.
